TRAUMA-INFORMED, COMPREHENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES

 

Services to help you stabilize your situation and re-establish your ability to live independently. Services that are provided to you include:

  • Housing navigation
  • Payment to cover partial housing related costs (rent, utilities)
  • Linkage to basic needs (food, clothing, personal care)
  • Assistance with applying for public benefits
  • Interpretation/Translation
  • Family reunification
  • Linkage to childcare services
  • Linkage to legal, medical and mental health services
  • Job search
  • Assistance with ESL/school enrollment
  • Assistance with obtaining identification documents as eligible, i.e., SS card, State ID, driver’s license, passport renewal, etc. 
  • Assistance with opening a bank account 
  • Connection to community resources
  • Safety planning

ELIGIBILITY

TRAUMA-INFORMED, COMPREHENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES

  • A foreign national survivor of trafficking. 
  • A foreign national survivor who has received HHS Certification.
  • A foreign national under 18 years old who is a potential survivor of trafficking. 
  • A foreign national under 18 years old who has been subjected to a severe form of trafficking.

Human Trafficking is the exploitation of human beings through force, fraud or coercion for the purposes of commercial sex or forced labor. Any person under age 18 who performs a commercial sex act is considered a victim of human trafficking, regardless of whether force, fraud, or coercion was present.

THE FEDERAL DEFINITION

(A) sex trafficking in which a commercial sex act is induced by force, fraud, or coercion, or in which the person induced to perform such act has not attained 18 years of age; or

(B) the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for labor or services, through the use of force, fraud, or coercion for the purpose of subjection to involuntary servitude, peonage, debt bondage, or slavery.
